Ever wanted a Phosban Reactor on steroids?

Here it is! My new toy is the AquaC XP Plus.

have you intalled it yet and tested it out? does it require a higher flow rate than the phos ban one? are you using it to run phos ban or carbon?

This looks similar to the deltec version? Seems like it would be handy for large tanks. I can't imagine anything under a 180 needing that much phos ban? Most run 2 of the smaller units 1 for phosphate and 1 for carbon.

What pump are you using it with? MarineDepot suggested the mini jet 606 for it. Seemed small to me.

Wsun083 – no I’ll be keeping them for the prop tank
Yinger – Jason is the man!
Bbehring – I would not say it requires more flow but it can handle more flow as well as more media. I run one with Warner Marine PHOSaR and one with carbon.
Rscott76 – yes Ron, it is!
Bbehring – smaller tanks can now run PHOSaR and Carbon in the same chamber. Needing only one reactor.
The top is twist and lock w/ a o-ring. It is as easy to maintain as other reactors. I ‘aways glue the inside pieces together so they are easier to deal with.
Brewen – Gary, I use the Warner Marine PHOSaR because it rinses pure in approx ˝ gallon of water throught the reactor and it does not clump together like other phospate medias.
Faded1004 & Beach Native – Marine Depot. I think it was $49.99. I don’t remember because I bought a lot of stuff.
Mikedege – Yep, next time I fill it.
Brian Koyama – I am using a Maxi Jet 600 because that is what I had on hand. I think the output is the same as the minijet 606
Wishntoboutside – so when you coming over?

LOL! Been there, spent that...

Jason/AquaC always has built top quality goods. I love my ev-180...now if we could just get them to start thinking about Calcium Reactors.
