Got my first halide!

I got my first halide at the swap! It's a 175 watt fixture with PC's (can't remember the wattages of them). It's going on a 20 high, and after it cycles and matures, that will be a frag tank. I have one question. If skimming and flow are optimal, can I keep any corals? I made shelves out of eggcrate that have 3 levels, but it can fold down into 2. Could acros be placed on top? it's a 10K bulb.

New Bulb, Most likely on top shelf, provided it is close to the top. But remember FLOW and Skimming are just as important as the light. I would say the Tunze 6075 or similar pump (for flow) would be a must for SPS.

Yes.

The 6075 is actually a small pump for small tanks. Or maybe it is a 6025

But it is definately one or the other.
