Have you ever wanted a phosphate reactor on steroids?

Here it is! My new toy is the AquaC XP Plus.

How many grams/ml's can it hold? Flow rate higher? I love me some GFO!

I think it's rated at 300 grams vs the TLF reactor's 150 grams but I put 250 in it and it only filled it to the letter "U" in the word plus.

Greg, you are funny . If your is reactor is on steroid, mine must be a giant.

Just got the schuran multi filter. it is 6.5" OD, 21" tall with aquabee pump. I'm going to run Rowaphos and carbon in that badboy

Greg,

How does the top come off? Are there screws that hold it together, or is there some type of union?

Jim

Edit:

Never mind, I just read up on it at MD.

Nope, it doesn't cost $50 bucks but it can handled 3x's as much . I was about to buy that reactor couple weeks ago. but it is only rated for 300g, I need something rated for 500+g. That is why, i go with the schuran 1500.

the only downside is that the GFO to fill it up will cost more than the reactor! ha

So any updates on this particular phos reactor? Is it working well? Leaking? Need to get a new phosphate reactor.

Greg, I also have a question.

Are the 90's on the input and output removable like on the newer TLF models?

Thanks.
