WTT: My blue and purple maxima clam for your powerheads.

Title says it all. I want to trade my 1.5 inch blue and purple maxima for your powerheads. I really want strong powerheads, and possibly, one that has a Hydor Rotating Flow Deflector thing. I really wanna switch my tank to either a mixed reef, or an SPS dominated reef. I'm getting tired of just having zoanthids, but I do not yet have enough flow for SPS.

Thanks,
Brock

Do you want the clam for them? Everybody keeps giving me stuff, makes me feel guilty, lol. However many you are willing to part with, I will gladly take.

Well I just got a clam. I guess I could go with it or some zoas. Which ever. Some of these aren't so hot but there are a couple good ones. One maxijet 1200. May have a second one..... Debating on keeping it for a backup. The in water pump is a Rio 2100. Not the best in the world but works.

What is the GPH on the Maxijet 1200? What does the "in water pump" do? Same as a powerhead?

the in water can be used as a sump return pump or possible a closed loop. Maxijet 1200 rated at 295
GPH with no head room.

Does it have the suction cups and everything to mount it to the tank wall?

Yep. Has some calcium deposits that need cleaned off on the maxi's but otherwise good to go.

So how many do you think you would be willing to part with? What are the GPH's of all of the ones you will part with?

For sure:
Rio 2100 in water pump
Maxi Jet 1200 power head
Rio 600 power head
Mini jet 404 power head 2 of them
Visi jet 100 GPH power head

and maybe another Maxi jet 1200.

Sure. I'm getting bored of just zoas. I wanna thin them out a little, and pump up my flow for some SPS/LPS.

My mom alreay said that we probably won't be able to go to this one, but i'll talk her into it, or pay my brother to take me. Worst case scenario is that we could meet up somewhere after the meet, if I simply cannot come.

Brock, if you are interested, I have a red sea wave timer and 3 or four maxijet 1200's I would be willing to trade for your clam...
http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Produc...&N=2004+113782 Mine only has two cycling plugins, but I used and will give you as well, two three way splitters, so you can run six powerheads in alternating cycles. I used this on my 55 gallon for quite some time until I got my Tunze... Let me know..
