please ID this snail!
I hope this guy isnt bad, I have a few in the tank, and befor I get a clam i want to make sure they wont harm it. Thanks.

im not good at IDing snails but for an ID you will need a much clearer pic of the shell and the opening of the shell

im not too sure I can get any better with my camera, I'll try. But do you think that it'll harm a clam?

it looks like a common hitchhiker to me so off the top of my head i would say no it shouldn't bother your clam. just keep an eye on them and if they are congregating on the clam then you may need to start removing them

it is a good snail. Yesterday I saw my serpent star picked one up and ate it, it peobably ate the content then spit out. At the rate they are reproducing in my tank I don't mind spare a few though. They are algae grazing snails and will not get bigger than 4mm in diameter.
