id please

can someone please tell me what this lil guy is. It eats at the center of the body and eats quite a bit, seen it take a mysis shrimp all to itself. Thanks.

thing is tho, appearance wise, it never changes, majano have sweepers, this guy doesnt.

Looks like some sort of button polyp or small LPS coral. It appears to have septa.

I agree with anemonebuff--it even appears to be a little anthocaulus.

looks like a baby plate coral(fungia short tentacle) to me.

well that would be cool. This thing magically appeared a few months back, have had that LR for over a year and a few months. I'll continue to watch it i guess so see what happens. i wish I could get a better closer pic, maybe I'll borrow someones camera to try to do so. Thanks guys

one thing you can do is see if it has a hard skeleton or if it is soft like a polyp.

Can you feel any sort of skeletal structure if you touch it?

it does close up when I touch it, with a straw, and it does seem to have some sort of skeleton to it, kinda like a candycane coral

it's def not a button polyp, those dont have skeletons.
