Pom Pom Crab Compatability

Can you keep 5 or so in a 12 gallon Nano? Evertime I put one in, it eventually disappears. There is nothing tin the tank that could be eating them. I just think it'd be cool to see 5 to 10 in the same tank.

I have had a female pom pom for about 3 years know, see avatar and gallery. I had her in a 10 gallon for two years. She now is in a 40 gallon and I rarely see her. I am not real sure if they can be kept together but mine has never harmed anything so I think it would be fine.
