Raffle information for the frag swap on the 23rd

As many of the regulars may have noticed the raffle is becoming a regular event at our frag swaps. This time around things are going to be a bit different. Instead of everyone getting one free entry, tickets will be on sale for $2 each or 3 for $5, and you are free to enter as many times for as many items as you would like. All the money collected from this raffle is going to be donated to the American Red Cross to help aid victims of the recent tsunami. A donation jar will also be present for those who are interested in giving aid, but don't want anything up for raffle.

So far Mike from Strictly Marine has offered a $50 gift certificate for his store. Any one else interested in donating an item for raffle, please PM me or post here. Thanks!

I could probably come up with a couple zoo frags, but not sure if I'm invited. Not sure if anyone is interested in zoos because of the sps craze but that's all I have besides lps.

I'd certinally buy a couple of raffle tickets for some zoos!! There are some of us new *guys* that have PC or newish tanks that are mostly softie and LPS. Bring them ON.

Note if someone else wins these I'm expecting a finders fee of at least 1 polop!! (kidding)

And I'd love to look at some zoos.

I'm kinda' unclear how this frag swap works. Does everything go to the raffle? Will we be selling or just trading? The reason I ask is so I know what to bring. Thanks.

Bass Master, ( hope I am not jumping-in, I am a newbie too) we are just a group of people that want to meet others that love the same hobbie as ours! good people meeting good people! a frag meeting is really no more than that!
Many people bring frags to exchange and/or sell. Zoos are allways welcome I love them!!! what colors do you have?

I have some lime green one's that I can frag - maybe some solid orange one's that I got from jazzyreef and some mint green that I got from SunDragon. I may be able to bring more but not sure.

I'll will donate a $100 gift card to the store to help raise some more money to donate. A good friend of mine in the the saltwater industry lost two family members in the storm. Both were collectors over in the region. Some of the corals and fish I have recieved were chosen by them. Country Boy you can have $25 for your Birthday.
