According to people who were in Concord at the show, his motorcycle lost speed altogether and the bike began to wobble, causing him to fall back and hit his head.

Man, what a terrible thing for those people to see, especially all the kids there.

Whoa..Bummer. Laws of physics got suspended at exactly the wrong moment in time.

Point taken Loyalty. You are right, Joey, looks like I'm arguing with you, not my intent.

No problem. I know what you were saying.

We all rely on the gyro effect of the spinning wheels to keep us upright and straight. When I blew the rear tire this spring, I experienced the wobble induced by the loss of that effect, and it's pretty distressing.

I have to admit doing some seat-standing during my younger years, but I've outgrown it.........................uh yeah, that's right, I've matured.....................well, actually, I got married and had three kids.

rethinking

Joey.....you may be right here.......I have a new grandaughter. maybe I should cut down on my hoolingan stuff. I will make this statement. Trapeze folks use nets, because they know they wil fall....eventually. Does it really change the stunt if the stuntguy is geared up? That is not ment to be cynical..... a tragedy has occured. I do not think Larry was looking to kicked and I'm sure he was looking forward to life. The edge has its pitfalls.....go there too many times and the edge wins. I have lost firends who went there too much.....not geared up. Why? Because as we do things dangerous in nature...over and over....we get complacent. That is when the edge bites. May larrys lust for life guide all of us from here....just gear up ........................Steve

I really hate to hear that happened. As you can see from my location I am close. About 5 minutes away to be exact.
