AquaController Jr. Base Unit & Direct Connect 8

AquaController Jr. Base Unit & Direct Connect 8 Combo Package
Is anyone using one of these and what do you think of it. Can I plug in 2 250watt metal halide ballast to it.Or is it to much power draw.

2 X 250 watt halides aren't even close to too much for a direct connect 8. With the type of ballasts I run, you can actually plug 3 X 400 watt halides into 1 DC8. I think the ac jr and the DC8 is a great simple controller for a reef.
