You can buy hand warmers at sporting goods stores but they are not good to use for shipping. If you need some heat packs for shipping, I have some 40 hour packs and some 60 hour packs.

I have shipped with the "hand warmer" packs from Wal-Mart hunting dept. I used the 18hour packs with no problems. I taped one to lid of cooler and a second on bottom (laid newspaper on top of warmer and coral on top of newspaper). Corals have all arrived in good shape! No problems to speak of and received no complaints.

just remember the weather has taken a very cold turn. How are you shipping? Overnight even with 18 hour pack would be pushing it in my opinion, Maybe if you dropped off at last possible moment and had before 10 am delivery it would work.
