OT-Decent shots from Alaska

I just got back from a fishing trip to Alaska. It was spectacular as you can imagine. My only regret is not buying a DSLR before going. Maybe next year. These are some of the lesser shots I took IMO. They are decent shots, but not the best. I've still got quite a few to go through, but here are some for now. There will be another thread for the better shots. These were all taken with my Sony Mavica CD-500 P&S. Thanks for looking.

This was taken from a floatplane. It's a cow Moose.

This is an old trapper's cabin.

This is a shot of a mountain, lake, and our floatplane from the base of a waterfall.

These are some mountains from an airplane.

A lake and some mountains in the distance.

A mountain and glacier from an airplane.

A mountain on a lake.

A lake.

Check back for more!!

The best pictures are 3,4,6,7,8. Or at least the ones I think are the best

For not having a DSLR, those are not bad at all.

#2 and #4 are my favorite, but if I had to chose only one, it would be #4. That looks like you had your camera outside the window to take that shot!

Thanks a lot Mark. Surprisingly that was shot through the window. It was a fairly new plane, so the windows were still in good shape. I got lucky.
