Florida Group Buy

While in Florida I met a few divers who told me that at certain times they get overstock and they have a hard time selling it. I asked them to let me know if and when that happened so we could do a MARS group buy. They have a bunch of stuff for sale so we can buy it at a discounted price. All items requested must be payed for at the meeting or no later than the 20th via paypal. All money collected that doesn't come with a healthy animal will be returned in cash. Just to be on the up and up, I am making absolutely NO MONEY on this deal whatsoever, but am getting a free Angelfish or something of that nature for putting this together. Here is what is available:

Ricordia Florida:
Green- $7
Orange and red- $12
ASST colored (Blue,purple,neon mouth ect) - $10

Coral Banded shrimp mated pair- $15

Blue cleaner shrimp (pederson) - $15

Atlantic Red serpant star ( These are gorgeous and reef safe)- $25

Yellow Sea Rod (Gregonian) - $17
Orange Gregonian w/ red polyps (swiftia)- $22 I have one of these and it is amazing in color!!

That is what is there so far. There is a chance that there may be some neon gobies and if they are sent they will be for sale as well. The creatures will delivered Nov. 28th-30th with immediate cash back for non delivery/poor health.

We are hoping for 50 of the blue cleaners but please note they are small (like an inch) Most of what I posted I have been told there is plenty of. Like I posted, If anything doesn't get here there will be an immediate refund made. I would assume we will get most of it but in the case of a refund please no hard feelings.

Kevin 1 shrimp
Minh 2 shrimp
Bobby 1 shrimp
Davey 1 shrimp
Kenny 1 shrimp, i red ric, 1 asst ric
Alan 2 shrimp
WPNORTON 1 red ric, 1 yellow gregonian, 1 orange gregonian
Dodgrblu 1 shrimp, 1 orange ric
BBcoach-John 2 asst'd rics and a coral abnded shrimp pair

What size are the Ric's, generally? When he says green, are we talking neon or more like kahki?

The rics are normally no smaller than a spec of dust and no larger than a dinner plate Whether they are neon or khaki, all I can say is yes. I am sure there will be some of all of the above. He is not sending us his bad stuff though. He is doing a few dives just for us. The market is just so saturated in FL right now that the places he sells to has told him to hold off on any more of these animals.

PS.. I would ASSume that the rics are between a nickel and a quarter.

I was more personally curious, as I am having babies like mad on my floridias and yumas and was trying to gauge a fair price for them as I am getting to the point where I have just a few too many. Tank raised with a long Aquarium lineage.

Not to hijack your thread.

On a recent diving trip to FL, we brought back some of these guys and I have to admit, getting them direct really improves the mortality rates and overall health. If I could get away from work enough I would dive direct for all my tankmates...

I'm interested in the cleaners as well, however, isn't overstock typically less expensive than retail?

or are these different?
