I myself am 18 and my neighbor who is 18 got me into this hobby. We always frag and trade to eachothers tanks. It would be great to have more people to trade with. My cousin also builds websites for a living

You guys should seriously check out the Chesapeake Marine Aquaria Society (CMAS) as suggested above. They already do all the things you've mentioned above and more, plus they have a forum built into the website for meeting fellow reefers before you head to a meeting.

Best of all if you join you get discounts on the livestock at most of the local fish stores and many online vendors as well.

You folks must mean WESTERN MD. I probably live further south then the lot of you but theres little chance of getting enough people to start a club where I am.

RocketEngineer What part of MD do you live in? I am down in southern MD (st marys). If you are down this way check out smmas. Its a great local club.

You're still west of me. I live on the eastern shore, in Pocomoke. Its probubly a two hour drive to get to the other side of the bay.
