Mine searches for pods canstantly but, when I feed... he will attack a piece of Formula 2 algae like a great white on a seal pup.

He also buries himself in the sand every night just b4 lights out.

Here he is with sand on his head...

I put two scooters in my prop system ~6 mos ago to combat a nudibranch problem that I aquired. They did the job, and also managed to rid the tank of the dreaded red flatworms. I fed the system last night with the lights on (not the usual routine) and was surprised to see that they both ate prepared food that was part of the feeding concoction I prepared. I'll try to get a pic or two up before too long.

I guess I should change her name. Chuck just doesn't suit her anymore. How can you tell? Do the males have a spike like mandarin's?

Mine would host the Karallia 4 powerhead. Before they came out with the endcaps mine would swim inside the powerhead and lay down when I turned it OFF for feeding. I always had to coax him out to start the powerhead up again. I think he is mad I put endcaps on them now though. But at least he wont be losing some fins, hehe!!

heres mine, doesnt have a name. is it male or female? and i was also wondering if i can put a male and female together? mine also buries himself at night. when i first got him my fiance noticed sand all over his head and i said i didnt know why, that was a year ago. then one night i was looking in the tank at night and i saw something weird comeing out of the sand, at closer look it was his top fin. imediatly i ran into the bedroom and told her i knew why there is sand on his head in the morning. she loved that at 3 am.
