HELP! Looking for pods!!!

I got a mandarin thinking that with over 100lbs of LR in a 38 gallon, I would have enough pods for the mandarin since I only have a gsm and a flame hawk in the tank with him. But the mandarin looks really skinny and not getting any bigger. Anyone know where I can get any pods. Isn't there a bottle of pods I can get somewhere. Please help, I don't want to loose the mandarin.

Maybe the sixline I used to have wiped out all of the pods.

Tigger pods. Bottle of live pods. Go to the reef nutrition website and click the store locator link with your ZIP.

ps.. is locator spelled correctly? It has the red line for misspelled words under it in the editor here...

There are places locally that carry the live tigger pods.

Have you tried cyclop-eeze or other small prepared foods?

Just been trying Rods for prepared foods. I really thought I would have enough with all the LR. Do you knoe what LFS would have the Tigger pods? If not, I guess I'll just start calling tomorrow.

I'm here now, if you're not watching the game. I'll be here tomorrow night, after 8:30pm & Tuesday, 3-6pm. All Wednesday evening too. I live near Ohare.

So I went to the Fish Place on lunch today to check out the live Tigger Pods, and they were so tiny. How fast do they reproduce. The whole bottle, for $25, doesn't look like it could feed my mandarin for very long. Are the supposed to be the size they were in the bottle, about the size of a grain of sand? Seems like a waste of $25, am I wrong?

They do grow & reproduce but if you just poured that into your main system, they'd be gone quite quickly. Do you have a fuge? If you have a Manderin, it's a necessity.

I do have a fuge, it is in my sump. Only seperated by some egg crate though. It does have very low flow through it. I still plan on coming over tonight for the pods, are these the same pods that you have. Is it worth it to get the tigger pods as well?

So when I put them in my fuge, do I have to manually get them to the display or will they just make it there by the return pump. Or do I need to put them in the display once in a while, I am a little confused.

They should make it back into your tank eventually. When you come over, you'll see how I have mine set up. My fuge is in a seperate tank than the sump. I top off into my fuge, which stirs up the pods, so they will make it into the overflow, back into the tank.

Thanks for the pods and the cheato Jeni. Your FULL tank looks amazing. That is the look that I can hopefully achieve in my little 38 gallon one day. It was nice meeting you.

We are looking for pods too.. bought a bottle of tigger pods from living sea.. $25 is a lot to keep our spotted mandarin happy! We just got a sump too.. haven't put any thing in it yet to grow things... i live by o'hare in bensenville (which will soon be named the town of o'hare.. haha)

He seems to eat a bit of cyclo-peeze.. but not enough.. so live brine shimp works too?

Sharky's has them and I think they sell them for $14. They are in Grayslake if you dont want to order them over the internet. They will also ship to your house. I would take the drive theve got some neat stuff out there.

I used reefbugs in my tank with my mandarin and he is super fat and been happy for months. PS - I have no sump and with the reefbugs the mandarin was happy...
