Mkahn, I can only spare probably 2 heads. You got the majority of my colony last time. I think I have 5 heads right now. It is about the perfect size that I want it. I do need some computer/wireless networking advice though. I will PM you.

Is it ok if I set up for mostly dry-goods? I have a few corals to sell but mostly dry goods.

Sounds good Snook. I know at most of the frag swaps I have been to, there have always been people there with dry goods for sale.

sounds like its starting to come together well. Fast57 got your pm.

8201 skokie blvd
skokie il, 60077

Mitch- the location is a go. its a car dealership (formerly) that is serving as my company's construction field office. We'll be able to use the showroom about 75'x50'. Won't be one of the biggest rooms for a swap, but bigger than some we've been to.

Should be able to fit in about 20-25 tables (probably more than what we'll need)

If you guys want (everyone) mention it to any of the LFS' when you go in and see if they're interested in selling too. Just a thought.....

so since I have never been to one of these... could anyone explain how they work? I see that there is a business coming... I am assuming most of the corals wont be looking their best after the transport so are there pictures to look at? and how are prices displayed?

All I can think of right now is walking around and looking at all the amazing corals and having to ask each seller... how much is that? and then having to say... sorry I am poor and on a budget... LOL

I hear ya on the budget Kawi. I am bringing $50 and I may bring home 1 piece or 5? It all depends on what kind of deals there are, and what "catches the eye." Usually the vendors either set up a tank, or have the frags in a ziploc bag. Sometimes they have pictures of the parent colony, sometimes they don't. Some of them have prices on them, some don't. Being in the same state as you(poor) I usually shop around at the ones that have prices first, then if I have any money left over, I will ask prices to the remaining vendors. I don't like to hassle them if the stuff is out of my budget.
