My Nassarius Snails just laid eggs - Questions

My Nassarius snails laid thousands upon thousands of eggs on the front glass the other night. I watched it lay the eggs, so I know it was the nassarius.

Has anybody here ever heard of nassarius breeding in captivity? Success rates? They laid the eggs on Tuesday night. I figured they'd be long gone by now since it's not like anyone stands guard over them. However, they're still there. I'm curious what the incubation period is too.

When I say there are multiple thousands of eggs, it's no exaggeration.
I feel like I'm on a farm here. My clowns are still standing guard over their most recent clutch of eggs, and now the nassarius eggs.

I'm going to be turning OFF the Barry White tonight.

My Nassarius vibex snails will lay their eggs (or the white dots are actually egg capsules where several eggs are kept inside), and eventually I have some baby N. vibex snails. I don't have to do anything, but then again I have a very low number of predators, and with the number of eggs that my N. vibex lay, some of them are bound to live I suppose.

Unfortunately this probably doesn't answer all your questions, but Dr. Ron did a post or an article about this, and I have been searching thoroughly for it.

EDIT: Found it! http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2003-02/rs/index.php
