Bermuda Protein Skimmer HOT - who uses them?

Title says it all. I'm looking for user experiences with the Bermuda BPS-75 HOT Protein Skimmer (now known as the Bermuda Archipelago ).

Thanks for relating your experiences.

Same here. I've seen the massive ones in operation, and they are phenomenal. However, I have yet to see the HOT skimmer in operation.

Anyone?

I know they use a venturi. Beyond that, I'm not sure what you mean.

I have a prototype running in the store. The injector is a machined venturi valve which produces the smallest bubbles of any skimmer I have seen. You never have a problem with the airline clogging and reducing bubble production. The customized gate valve makes them easy to adjust.

Yes, I sell them, but I sell them because they work

So its a venturi on the pressure side of a pump, not of the suction like a NW, correct? And they use low pressure pumps? Usually the words Low Pressure and Venturi dont go together well in a skimmer How small is the venturi throat hole?
Thanks tridacna5

It's patent pending for 5 years. His custom work on the larger skimmers are good but not impressed by the smaller skimmers.
