20g BB SPS nano

after a brief stint away from the hobby, i began to miss it....luckily i had lots of equipment laying around so we set this up. i've always loved nanos

about 4 months ago we got a bad batch of salt and lost several colonies, we're slowly rebuilding and the corals have just recently bounced back and have begun to take off again.

stats:

20g H AGA tank
CPR backpack skimmer w/ mj1200
2x 6025 tunze nanostreams
nova 4x24 watt T5HO

~20lbs LR

livestock:
1 yellow tang
2 onyx perc clowns
2 green chromis
1 cleaner shrimo
2 turbo snails
1 astrea and nassarius

rainbow ric
misc zoa frags, tubs, fire&ice, etc.. (thanks adam)
chips acro colony
purple tricolor acro
purple rimmed m.cap
green and pink pocci

i apologize for the bad pics, they're cloudy....was doing a waterchange...

last month? with mj1200's

1 months growth...july to august m.cap

the tank houses my yellow tang that i have had for a long time...was previously in my 125...when i got him he was about the size of my fingernail and i thought he was a gonner for sure...after force feeding him and getting over some HILLE hes healthy as can be...cant wait to get the new set up for him.

thank you for the concern, i am well aware of the effects. this tank is only temporary until my new tank is built. i saved this fish, as he was shipped way to small and i literally used a pipette to forcefeed him as he refused to eat after shipping trauma. then again you'd know all that if you actually read my post.

the tank is low nutrient (.o4 po4, o-3 no3) and receives weekly 20% waterchanges. the only reason you see algae on the bottom glass from the earlier m.cap pic is from an OD of amino acids oops.

next time flash your badge, i did not know you were a member of the tang police

colinadam- hehe thanks, good to see you on other forums. it seems cmas is the only forum many people visit.

ez- i appreciate it.

it's actually green with a pink/purple rim...the colors arent captured due to the combo of myself and my point and shoot.

The aquascaping is amazing!!! This would look great in a tall circular tank I think. Keep posting more pics (maybe a fts from just level in front?) Also, Rooney and the Red Devils are so sick!!!!

tballa- thanks...i'm red through and through. i'm hoping tevez and rooney can link up...i'm doubting it, but keeping my fingers crossed. they're both very dynamic, will prove interesting to see them both on the pitch.

i'll try and have a friend snap some pics or borrow a better camera.

thanks for the kind words guys. yes, just two big pieces of rock.

juan, smack the 'can for me...indiana?

there will only be a tort, soli, insignis, and granulosa being added. possibly a caroliniana if i can one like the colony i lost... i like fewer large corals.

here's a pic pre-mini crash after changing the placement of some corals...you can see how much they have grown and my favorite piece that i lost....

I love the look of just 2 piece of rock towering in the tank. It's pretty tight.

Love it! It looks like you can squeeze a couple more frags in there.

I've got a soli that is healing from a bad kalk OD. I can get you a frag when it heals if you like?

If you want, I have three very small frags for you.

1)Blue tip Kimbeensis
2)Green/Purple tip Soli
3)Green/Blue tip Batunai

I just glued them down on some rubble. If you want them, I'll send you a pm when they are ready.
