Coral beauty

Do they eat aiptasia? Cause I just got one yesterday and I have a small amount of the pest and I looked like it was eating them but maybe not. I just know it was going close to the home of the female clown that was bothering it. doesnt seem like it would unless it was eating something.

They might, but they might also eat any LPS or clams you have.

Thats what I heard about them. I took the rise cause some people have luck with them. I don't have a clam just a brain coral and a plate and galaxia.
So could it possible be eating the aiptasia?

I have a Coral Beauty who goes around pecking at everything.
I do not know if it is eating or just curious.

It would be nice if it was eating them. I don't have many but there are probably 15-20.

They pick at algae on the rocks but are not known for eating Aiptasia. Mine certainly doesn't. Mine has not bothered any LPS or clams either.

Mine does not eat aptasia. It does pick at corals though sps and lps alike. It's never touched my clams though. I think it's curiosity to see what the corals taste like. It's never caused any ill effects and i've had him for 2 years

You must keep him well fed.

That's a big help.
