Update

Today i was finally able to cut the baffles on my sump to allow for more flow.

I also relocated the skimmer for better performance and put in a power power for the fish room.

Before

After

i have 8 outlets each with its own switch

skimmer moved closer the the floor

Those outlets look great. That will be so worth it, as you use them from now on.

Test the ammonia one more time, and pay attention to the timer. It is possible to forget about it, and it darkens the longer it sits.

Nitrite and nitrate look like they are at 0 to me.

It definitely is far less green than before. To your eyes, does it just look like a "dirty 0 ppm" reading to you?

If you have Prime or AmmoQuel Plus, you may need to dose the tank to protect livestock. I've used Seachem's Prime in my reef when things got iffy, and never had a problem.

It can take a little while before the cycle begins. That may be why you did not get any readings at the begining. It would appear that you are now cycling, good move moving the shrimp.
