Well thats what Deltec said it would weigh

Sides are 0.75" and bottom 1" both laminated glass.

The tank it self is 15foot x 5.5 foot x 35.4 inches.

Deltec have delayed the delivery date of the tank a little saying that due to them moving offices/plant and that they haven't received the bottom glass they have to add few weeks

In other news I have been sketching a little trying to get some idea on how to arrange the rock work.

I like canyons, coves and caves and I want to have a feeling of depth and also equally amounts of sand and rock for good feng shui

ok that's sweet, what ballast and bulbs will you be using for lumenarc III reflectors? also will the light canopy hold any fans to help any cooling. would it be better for redundancy to run two smaller skimmer maybe 2 AP1004 or AP1003, same goes for reactors too.

cbui2: I'll be running Coralvue ballasts and Reeflux 10k 400w bulbs. I have an extra Deltec AP 703 skimmer rated for ~900 gallon and a smaller Deltec calcium reactor for redundancy

Just got a nice package today

It's the BiotopusII computer from Elos, Italy.

Going to test this with my little aquarium at home until the big one arrives which should hopefully be soon.

Nice sketchs, did you make them on sketchup? If so, how did manage to get the rocks to look so natural. When I try they always come out to geometric.

Thanks

...and how was the hernia operations for the three of you afterwards? Like they say, misery loves company But I'm guessing your tank was acrylic, because a tank that thick and that large would be much too heavy for 3 people to lift unless you guys are all weightlifters.

Gorgeous, can't wait to see this take shape! What features attracted you to the Elos controller? Did you consider Aquatronica?
