At arrival - nice, white and small:

6 months later, monstrous trees:

Easiness of propagation: filefish chops branch, tastes, spits, day later - branch is attached. Week later - grows:

Way too big for nano-tanks, and I would prefer brighter corals.

Here's a pic of mine. I absolutely love Capnella species. It is kind of bent looking becuase I put a devil's hand above it so it kinda of curved to more sunlight. In plenty now though.

Could be Arboreum sp., they are Kenya tree too. Most of the shouwn on pictures are Capnella sp. When I asked at forums, just after purchase, I was refused until I give scientific name - which one of them it could be - and no such requirement for LFS, selling them .

Mine seems to have expanded more now that it has been in my tank for almost a week.

Sounds like it's adjusting nicely!
The polyps do look withdrawn in your original pic, but that's pretty normal for a coral that's still acclimating. Of course, these corals are liable to shrivel or swell at any time.

Mariner, my Kenya tree polyps are definately expanded and look nicely. Do Kenya trees grow as fast as Xenia?

No, not usually, but I don't know that ANYTHING grows as fast as Xenia

Heres some of mine. Started as a single small branch and now its like the plague dropping babies all over the place. It looks light tan under MH and a darker tan under PCs. Slowly getting rid of it all after it left us 10+ new starts in a short period of time. Don`t get me wrong as I really like the way it look but not the ease of reproducing it has shown

It's maybe doubled in size over about 6-9 months. Wondering if I'm doing something wrong and it should be growing faster than that?
