Green Polyp Toadstool Leather

Would a green polyp toadstool leather be happy if I put it near the top of the tank (~8" from the light)?
It's a 75g tank with 6 - 54W T5 light.
Thanks.

It should be fine. I moved mine from lower to higher in my tank toward the hallides and it took a few days to acclimate. It didn't open for probably 5 days. It got the waxy coating during that time, now it's fine and loves the light.
