Clown breeding question

Should I use a carpet anemone in a pot that is about 6 in. diameter? When you breed black saddles should anemone be present?

I don't think it really matters on the type of anemone as mine have 1 very large green bubble tip at one end of the tank that they host and at the other end of the tank is now 2 rose anemones which were one until my clark clowns started laying next too it on a piece of shale rock and now it has split and the my clowns still host all 3 anemones.
