More flow needed...Any suggestions?

So i have my 90 gallon and I need more flow near the bottom. Currently I have a Maxi-jet 600 on the left side pointing down to take care of the front of my tank. (I hate how it looks by the way)
The problem is the sides of my tank from back to front is getting algae because of lack of flow. I was thinking two nano pumps on the back of the tank facing forward on both sides would take care of this...And they would be relatively hidden. Any thoughts?? Suggestions?

Well, your Maxijet is only giving you 160gph. You should be looking at around 10 to 20 times turnover per hour (900-1,600gph). Basically, you're way under on water movement.

A lot of people are happy with the Hydor Koralia powerheads, and you could get a couple of the #3 powerheads for less than $100.

I had a maxijet 1200 just for the lower part of the tank but it was blowing sand everywhere, my 600 does also but not nearly as bad. That was a issue I had trouble dealing with. I played with the angle and pointed it in several directions for a week with no success
