clown not eating well

I've got a perc clown, only fish in 50gal tank, that won't eat. I've got Prime Reef frozen that I put in a few drops of Garlic Xtreme and I don't think he likes it too well. I also have Omega One marine flakes that I feed. He seems to eat some of the flakes at times, but not the frozen. Any ideas, should I change food?
Thanks,
Jeff

How long have you had him? How long has your tank been up?

Tank has been up since Oct. 1st and I've had the clown for about 1 month. I haven't noticed him twitching, or anything out of the ordinary. He seems to be acting normal, but he's just not eating.

He's actually never really eaten well, I'm kinda suprised he's still around with the amount he has eaten, or hasn't eaten.

I find most fish go for mysis shrimp or brine shrimp (frozen). Mysis has higher protein, and is better nutritionally, but brine can be good to get picky fish to eat. None of my fish will touch flake, and don't like those frozen mashed-up foods much. Some will eat New Life Spectrum pellets.

I think if you try some frozen mysis, he'll really like them.

I just got some mysis shrimp for the first time and my clown loves it, along with everything else in the tank. Its cool also when I drop it in and everything comes out of hiding from the rocks/sand etc

You could try a little garlic on the mysis as an appetite enhancer

My cinnamon clown LOVES Formula One and Two. Goes wild for it when it is feeding time. The key is trying a bunch of foods and see what it likes. Then alternate between the food it likes.

Think I'm going to try the mysis and probably use the garlic as well. I've got a lot of the Prme Reef left so I'll probably try it again once he starts eating.
