What kind of white paint for projector??
The guy at electronic store told me that it's much better to use screen since it's specially coded to reflect more light, and told me it's a bad idea to use projector on white painted wall.
Is there some special vinyl paint that can reflect light much better than ordinary white paint?

Any 'white', is going to have some sort of color cast to it. Paints fade, yellow, and age w/ time. This is going to impact the color you see, but will happen so gradually and over time, you'll likely never notice. - Mac |

I don't think it's so much the color but the "gain" Which is the amount of light that is reflected. The screen can be the most expensive part of a high end home theater. It is, after all what you are looking at. It can be done on a white wall, and you could watch a 13" black and white, I don't think you want either. The cost of the screen is what has prevented me from going to a projector. Just my .02
