Who went to the early bird sales??

Wow. It was my very first time, and was nuts! Line for casher was all the way around the store in Bestbuy. When I got there at 6:00 am, I over heard these people saying there already was a line in front of the door at 4:00 am. I just walked out as soon as I saw the line.

Hehe... not me, I get up plenty early to go to them, but why? All the places that have sales don't have anything that I NEED. Now if the pet store had one of these sales I would be there...

The crowds drive me nuts. And do even bring up trying to find parking!

I do most of my holiday shopping online these days......

Hey, I was at work yesterday evening. The hospital Thanksgiving food leaves a lot to be desired. At least this means I have Christmas off!

I never shop on the day after Thanksgiving. It isn't worth all of the headache and waiting in lines. Unless they were giving out lots of stuff for free and I had a reasonable chance of getting it, you wouldn't catch me out there.

I ventured out last year to see what the big fuss was about. At 5:45 AM the Super Wal-Mart parking lot was already at capacity and people were parking across the street. A fight broke out in produce between people clawing for the last few $30 DVD players. It was insane and I vowed never to do that again. I think alot of those advertised bargains are just gimmicks to get you in the store anyway...being suffocated by 500 people waiting to get at 2 dozen super-bargain-priced items is definitely not my cup of tea.

This afternoon I went to Lowe's because they had 7' Frazier and Noble fir Christmas trees for $35...which is about $85 less than what I paid last year! Thankfully, it wasn't a cluster.
