75 gallon tank, lights, stand, filters... etc MD

im located in South carolina currently, but all of the stuff for sale here can be found in westminster maryland... i would prefer pick-up only but i could arrange to drive or meet someone anywhere (when i return from college). if you are in south carolina or between maryland and SC transport could be arranged when i return from college as my parents will be driving down to pick up some things that dont fit in my car. they would be able to meet you most places on I -95

ALL info about this tank can be seen here i have pictures, descriptions, contact info and prices

http://www.petfish.net/forum/index.p...c,59344.0.html

any questions PM me. thanks for loooking at this ad.

here is the advertisement as it appears on the Petfish.net forum (pictures are on the link above)

''alright guys, ive decided once and for all that i wont be setting up my 75 gallon tank again for a saltwater tank. i dont have the time or the money now that im in college, so im going to stick with smaller tanks.

this post is to see if anybody is interested in my customized tank. there are over 1000 dollars in parts/labor involved with this tank. you have seen what i did with it and a few hundred dollars. but now it sits in my basement lonely and dry.

in my mind this tank is priceless, but thanks to college i need to get rid of it.
the tank is located in westminster maryland and is pretty heavy (1/2" glass) so i would prefer pick-up only. total weight is around 350lbs with the lavarock molded 3D 3 side background, the heater places in the back corners, the UGF (which i used as a bacteria plenum( if you want to use a UGF you will need a 1/2" PVC to connect to the outlet in the back left side of the tank. and a pump obviously. i will look for some pics around my computer to post later.

if you are interested i would like to work out a deal.

ask for prices, very very reasonable.
i also have a 300 watt VHO flourescent lighting kit with a brand new ballast (used for 30 hours) and all of the tubes are rather new, but could be replaced. ($B.O.? ) paid 400 for it new.
you can have your pick through all of my supplies i have leftover. pumps, filters, RODI system (needs new cartridges)
anything you want i probably have. ($B.O. per item or as a group... )

also the stand this tank is on is a great sturdy homebuilt stand. which can support the tanks full weight. around 1000 lbs.

stand doesnt look great but it is functional and can be made beautiful with a little bit of work.

any offers throw em out there. im listening. ''

I am interested. What are you looking to get for it? Can you send some pics to dialed_in_transam@yahoo.com? I'd be interested in the tank and possibly the stand.

best offer (reasonable) is what im looking for the lights... keep in mind it is a 24" 4tube set... you can extend the wires to get up to eight foot bulbs, but it needs a new reflector to change the size...

wrench has dibs on the tank as of now, ill post more if need be. but you are first for the lights

pictures will be posted tomorrow when my brother sends them to me... sorry for the long wait.

the tank is not drilled. as for prices here is what im looking to get, but im entertaining most reasonable offers.

tank - 250$ is what im trying to get... the background, tank, and UGF parts cost well over 500 and the labor, was about 70hrs start to finish.
stand 50$? if you buy the tank you can have it for 20 (parts cost)
VHO lights - 200 (paid 400 for ballast, reflector, and 4 bulbs)
RO system - 70$
Other misc. stuff... offers - market value... buy the tank and you can have a few things.

i thought i had some prices in there... sorry

let me know what your looking for... i have a few more pictures as of tonight. they will be posted tomorrow night. around 10pm EST

i would like to get 200 for the lights (ballast, 4 VHO tubes, 2ft reflector) i paid ~400 for them new and they have only been used for ~60 hours

pictures will be up when my brother gets them for me. im in college in a different state. hopefully the internet back home will be working correctly and they should be here by this weekend.

here is the information about the kit, and a general sense picture. it is in the same condition as new, BUT the reflector has a bit of salt creep from the tank

and this is the spec sheet.

Name: ARO Model 4LX Fluorescent VHO ballast.
Type: Rapid Start, Electronic.
Watts: Operates up to 440W.
Bulb Length Limit: Do not exceed 16 feet in total bulb length.
Ballast Case Dimensions: 11 3/4"L x 3"W x 2"H
Length of power cord: 7'1/2"
Lamp harness: 6 feet.
Quick Disconnect Cable: 7' 1/2"
Endcaps:German 3 Piece, moisture resistant
"On / Off" switch: Yes
Pre-Wired: Yes
Input: 120V
Warranty:Yes, 3 years to original purchaser.
Notes: A powerful electronic ballast that will efficiently operate T-8, T-12, Normal Output (NO), High Output (HO) and Very High Output (VHO) bulbs at cooler temps and extended life compared to standard ballasts. With rapid start and high frequency operation, you will never see flickering.

* Electronic ARO Model 4LX VHO ballast kit is designed to operate FOUR bulbs up to 440 watts of light (with maximum of 16 feet of lamp length).
* Extreme intensity and reliability is guaranteed. Backed by a 3 year warranty on the ballast.
* Versatile ballast, with a quick disconnect lamp harness allowing you to increase or decrease the number of bulbs you are operating (as long as the 440W / 16 feet limitation is adhered to). Additional wiring harnesses sold separately.
* Exceptionally energy efficient electronic ballast with potted design for moisture resistant operation.
* Has 1/4" holes on ballast case for easy mounting.
* This is an in-series product; thus, if you choose to use the 4 lamp harness, all four lamps will be either "On" or "Off" at the same time.
* Endcaps are high quality 3 piece moisture resistant units and are German made.
* Ballasts are not dimmable.
* VHO ballasts are not compatible on X-10 systems.
Warning: To avoid damage to your system, make sure the lamps are seated firmly in the 3 piece endcaps and the connection between the lamp harness and ballast is pushed all the way together. Any connection that is not made firm can cause an ARC, potentially causing damage/failure to your system. If you are not sure how to properly install the lamp, please call us toll free at 866-969-7333 or 866-WOW-REEF. Damage caused by an arc is not covered under warranty.
* Caution: This retrofit/ballast kit must be housed in an area free of moisture, behind glass or acrylic. Make sure the bulb(s) and socket(s) are sealed off from any moisture, humidity or evaporation of your aquarium. Failure to do so will void any and all warranty, and could be a potential hazard.

sorry i dont have any pictures at the moment.
