ACRO EATING FLAT WORMS! pics

well i found out that my tank is infested with the acro eating flat worms. i ended up throwing out a half dozen colonies that were so far gone that there was no saving them.
for those who dont know what to look for here is some pics of the eggs. you cant see the flat worms but there eggs are visable if you look real close. these pics were after to coral had dryed out for 24 hrs. they are very noticable then. look for all the little brownish orange round balls on the skeleton of the coral. you can see how far the tissue has been eaten away by these pests. so far there is no real treatment for these flat worms. you can try 6 line wrasses, and dragon faced pipe fish but i feel it will only keep the adults under contol. i dont know if they eat the eggs or not. im hoping some one who has a little more knolage of these poest will chime in with a better cure for these pests. they will ravage a colony in a matter of days to weeks. then they spread out and can kill off your intire tank by eating all the acros in site.

Thank you so much for posting those images - they are very helpful. Could you email them to me in the highest resolution you have? I might want to use them in my next book, with your permission. I probably also have some more questions for you.

To all others: here is the reason you quarantine corals (and everything!).
