your feedback on tsunami top off kit

hi guys i have this tsunami top off unit and i need to make a decision if i want to set this up. can you let me know it pros and cons ...thanks greg

I think I have one not forsure if we are talkin about the same thing. It is in my relic box.

Does it have a black plastic probe looking thing that hooks into a control box with some airline.

If so I did not like it because the range on the darn thing was huge. I mean it took the water level dropping like 3-4" for it to turned on then it would fill like 5" before it shut off. Figured I could do better than that so I ditched it.

$60 down the drain. Oh well just money...

I've been using one for 7 years. the way my sump is designed I have a
18" x 8" area that is my evap area and it drops 3/4" maybe an inch and then tops of I think the only time I had an issue is when a cat chewed the air line....
