Question Hitchhiker??? No pics.Sorry

I have noticed a white tube attached to my LR. It almost is an exact match. Then I noticed two tentacles coming from it grasping for food. I have seen no other tentacles though. Is this an anemone of some sort?????????

Thanks,

Adam

not an anemone if it has a white tube. Most likely a vermetid snail. Nothing to be worried about.

I'm betting vermetid. Not bad, but they can really get numerous. I used to have them in my last tank's incarnation...I thought of them as the little 'fisher worms', because they cast out one tentacle to snare food, two if excreting.

my guess would be Chaetopterid or Spionid worms. Vermetid snails will cast a web, not "tentacles"
