Will do. As soon as I have something to show. Got to get the stand built before the tank gets here.

Hey Robster, I too hope you do a tank thread. I'd like to see that tank. I have a glasscages 180 that I'm pretty happy with but I'd love a rimless. My open top is nice but the bracing definitely takes away from the look.

I will. My neighbor started on the frame for the stand yesterday. As soon as there is noticeable progress I will snap a few pics and get the thread going.

Awesome growth!! Thats what I mean about holding back on changing things. Your tank is doing great, dont change a thing about it.

Thanks Edward. I like your new avatar!
I stoped using kalk reactor. I'm using Austin Oceans MoCalc 300 calcium reactor 24/7. Right now I have it dialed in perfectly. It only took about month to get it right.

Thanks Brian. I'm just trying to follow in your foot steps.
I stopped using Kalk rxt b/c my tank needed more calcium.
Since my ph never falls below 8, I didn't need to use the kalk reactor at night.

Nice tank shot Naka. Looks like I have to change the wallpaper on my PC again. Can't recall who's tank is currently on it. Hmmm...

Naka,

I've been following your thread for a while now, but the new FTS is just so gorgeous that I had to post and compliment you. You really have done something amazing, and inspired me to do a rimless tank as well.

A couple questions:

1) Sorry if I missed this, but what pump are you running on the CL? Why did you choose to add the vortech rather than just upgrading to a bigger CL pump?

2) Now that you've had the sfiliogoi for a while, what is your take on it? Does it give you adequete spread for your 30" depth?

3) What is that maxijet to the right of the overflow for?

Thanks.

Thanks Solly!

1) I'm using Sequence Dart for my CL. Main purpose is to keep the detrius suspended. All the flow is directed towards the back, so I need the Vortech to move the flow left to right. Without Vortech, I would not have enough random flow for sps.

2) I love my lights, never had any problems with it. The spread is perfect for 30" depth. I would also use it for 36" depth.

3) Maxijet is to provide extra flow for my sps on the right side. I have the Tunze 6055 preordered to replace it. It's taking longer than expected, but I think it's going to be worth the wait. It's going to be on a controller to create more random flow.
