Your set-ups looking real good Eric.

I just bought myself the Cannon 400d, great camera, now I've just got to learn how to use it

You should've told everyone the Nos was for your calcium reactor

Eric your build is doing great! You have so much room in your garage - just keep building .

Eric, Coraline has been harvested. I will have to break it up a bit to get it in the container, but since you will be doing that anyway, it shouldn't be a problem.

It will go out tomorrow via DHL over-night. So now we can find out if it IS super coraline or if it's my system that makes it grow like mad.

NanoGurl - Thanks

Carol - Thanks.. Looking at your thread keeps me motivated. Congrats to use as well on water and the start of all the good bacteria. Usually I am a tightwad about my garage and space evan it being a 3 car. However I am glad all the equipment is in there now. I will just see how the heat and humidity go. I will mostlikely have my QT and possibly a frag tank under my display.

Johnathan - Thanks I hope it helps my rocks seed faster. I think I might get a couple maxijets for some extra flow, dont feel like spending any Tunzee money right now. heehe

I agree on the MJ mod as they should do a great job for you. My Tunze's are great but I still need to get them so the sand isn't going everywhere - just another job to be done! I agree on the QT and the frag tanks being in a more controlled environment. Unless your garage has AC - that water is going to heat up come summer. If the water is moving fast enough - it might keep it down.

Looking good and thanks!

Does your Little Giant fuge pump self prime at that negative head? You may want to keep an eye on that after an outage.

I love Tapcons

Carol - I figure $75 is worth it untill I get all my other klittle odds and ends, then I can throw $$ at a couple Tunzes. I am getting a lot of the brown algae dust type. I only have a few snail. I think the extrsa flow might help it a little. I am really concerned about the heat. At least i have a couple months before I need to start with that project.

H20ENG - You are always on the ball. No it does not prime if it loses power. I have still yet to put my battery backup for my dart. I was htinking next month whne I clean the sump I might drain it and put in a bulkhead.

I want to make a couple 45 braces for the reactor shelf, but the tapcons made it pretty secure. I still might make a couple before I paint it.

You could just put the pump below water level of the sump. Keep your inlet hose for ease of plumbing if you want.

You wont lose any flow by having the pump lower because its already having to draw water up to it.

I have a bunch of LG pumps that got thrown out due to corrosion. I took them apart, relubed and painted them. Good as new

Paul I give you credit on your carpentry skills. It seams I just can't make anything perfectly level. I wish I knew some tricks of the trade. Or maybee it will come with time and expierence. Mann I am like 32 and still have trouble with carpentry whats the deal. i am a gearhead by heart but would love to become a half decent carpenter. I give all you carpenter guys credit..

Sounds like the story of my life. I can rebuild motors all day long, but when it comes to wood working, I could always use some improvement.

Thanks Dan. Your tank looks sweet. I ook forward to seeing your updates and your new little one.

Rededge that mermaid had a mini me in her belly at the time. Thanks...

Well not much to update. I did drain my fuge and slid it over to make some room for salt. Perfect fit.
