Why lifetime of 20000K bulbs is shorter than others?

Dear Sanjay,

I have heard that arguement around, people said it's about the power consumption for producing very high color temperature (especially in the bluer spectrum) will shorter bulb life. Some folks said you have to change your 20000K bulb every 6 month.

However, the actual CCT and the advertised CCT of the bulb do different. For instance, the architecture blue bulb probably have a very hight CCT reading. Therefore, can I trust this arguement?

Thanks

ike
