Erectus w/ HOB

Will young Erectus be okay with a HOB Millenium 2000 on the tank. They would be about 2" long. I could put mesh around it if that would help.

This would be a 29g tank.

Any input would be greatly appreciated

Shouldn't have any problems. However, I put sponge prefilters on all my HOB filter intake tubes just in case any seahorses would be inclined to hitch to it and get the tip of their tails stuck in one of the strainer holes. I do everything I can to make my tanks as safe as possible.

Thanks for the responses, I already have the tank set up, I am waiting for someone I know's young to get to the point where theyre on frozen food. They just closed the life cycle, the young just had young, so that is kinda cool.
