Very nice, however, how do you clean the glass on the inside?

maybe Im missing something. The tank looks like its an enclosed box. Is that an illusion? If not, where is the seam?

nevermind- I see it now, the edge of the water is so close to
the rim, at a glance it looks like a lid duh!

i'm not mess'n with the camera a hole lot. just point and shoot. to lazy realy to learn all the stuff. i messed with it a bit a few months ago. but with this project going, no real time to do anything else. it is great to work on. much easyer than with a top. i just need to get it so i can take top down shots and i'll be good.

thanks scuba dog. your tank looks great too.

Sweet tank. One of the best clam tanks I've ever seen.

I think that you could make the water's surface smoother when the pump is running if you split the return and pointed the outlets at the walls of the tank or if you did some sort of elevated (but weighted) piece of acrilic over the return to diffuse the flow towards the walls. You could then cover the diffuser with rocks, clams or coral so that you can't see the return.

thanks everyone.

pseudoreerer... i have pieces of pvc that i can screw into the bulkhead to direct the flow. it works well but still produces a little ripple. i don't mind it just blowing up like it does now. for viewing and feeding. i just shut the pump down and the water like glass.

after i start putting some sps corals in there then i'll use the water directors to flow over them.

Not sure if it has been said before, but ditch the Xenia. Once it starts spreading all over the clams, your gonna hate it!

I have been there, trust me!

WOW!!! The tank looks amazing now that it is stocked. Is it glass or acrylic? Did you have it custom made or does someone already make them?
