R body bags re-used???

can someone shed light on this.Do they re-use body bags?? if so do they clean them after use?? Even though your dead that's still gross if they re-use them...

Why would you want to know this... planning on being dead and don't want to be in a used bag? They probably do reuse them after a washing. lol

Just a guess, but probably not. I would think if they reused them there would be a risk of contaminating evidence (if the death was under investigation) even if you washed them.

Isn't this kind of like using an alchohal swab for the IV needle during a lethal injection execution? What's the point if he gets an infection or not?

you might get a last minute appeal coming through and then you would die of an infection. Cooties I tell ya!

I believe that most body bags used by coroners, etc. are disposable.

I listen to a radio show each day on my commute to work, and they actually talked about this for over an hour. It was too funny to hear some of the things that they were coming up with.

They reuse coffins so they probably dont reuse body bags as they cant be that expensive....
