you know, maybe you could talk him into getting a less extravagant setup and have the adjoining rooms thing like people suggested. It sounds to me like he's really gung ho about seeing you again and wants to spend as much time with you as possible, and is therefor forgetting how you are a grown woman etc. I mean you don't look to be that old, I"m assuming that the last time he saw you was when you were in your teens? Dad's have a tendancy to forget how their little girls grow up, I've noticed.

This is almost as creepy as when my father-in-law and his significant other started making out in the backseat of my car while I was driving and my wife was in the passenger front seat! We were leaving an orchestra concert (it was about 11:00pm) and I had offered to drive (one car easier than two). Half way back the wife and I started to hear kissing sounds from the backseat...man did I chew them out! Talk about uncomfortable!

And how weird...I felt like a 25 year old father yelling at his 54 year old kid!!! "Don't make me turn this car around!"

Seriously, though, good luck in getting your own room...it's definitely good to be able to get that, ahem, "quality" time.

if its a 2 bedroom suite, then i wouldnt be concerned. otherwise, i wouldnt do it. end of story. don't ask, just tell him.

if he is concerned about money, tell him he can pay for your room.
