very cool!

1. although we still need to get to the root of the problem (air freshiners just hide the problem... turn off the freshiner and you realize the stink is 2x as bad)

2. it helps corals grow... but it doesn't help corals build a solid foundation to withstand storms. One storm/hurricane and all that effort is lost... a real coral reef is solid and can withstand waves much better - and they also protect the island.

Great idea though - now we/someone needs to run with this information/technology =)

I'm thinking about removing my ground probe to let some of that stray current do its thing !
