Do you plan to add live rock? Are there going to be other fish or just a pair? This info could have some bearing on the responses.

After the tank is ready for fish, liverock, etc...

I'd look at either,

Genicanthias Angel Pair,

Blue Throat Trigger Pair,

Sargassum Trigger Pair,

Any Pygmy Angel can be paired easily.

I highly doubt you can afford 4000-8000 dollars of fish...and if you can that's ridiculous.

I would definetly get some live rock before I invested in a pair of rare exotic fish. At least some base and start your cycle. Your tank won't work as it is. No cover=scared as hell fish.

I don't think theres any need to insult this guy just because he doesn't want any rock. If I was you combo, I would just get a few nice pieces of rock and make a fairly large cave in the middle. Espeically if you only want the two fish that would be ideal.
