I read the post and IMO you should get your money back! You did not get the pump he was advertising. Does the pump work at least? IMO there is no way that pump is month old, not to mention its not even the same pump as the picture. Has the person contact you?

Yea thats shady at best. IMO lookin at the pics its not even the same pump.

You need to get the sellers name in this thread so we all can be aware. I know its in the other thread, but ive forgotten the name already. At least it works tho, 40 bucks is not alot of money but thats not the point. I would be upset as well.

What size output is on the pump you were sent? It looks like its half inch and the one he has pictured looks to be 3/4 inch. I would check their website and see what size output each pump has, if the 2500 is half inch, the pump pictured is most likely his newer 3500, and then id for sure call paypal on it.

If it was not purchased via e-bay your chances of getting anything back from paypal are zero to none, but good luck.

However, if the item is was purchased with a credit card, you may be able to have the charges reversed.

The one picture shows a pump with a bit of bleached coraline or some white substance on it. The pump that was delivered was covered in the stuff how do you explain that?

Thats a pretty crappy way to ship a pump... The least you could do was throw some peanuts or bubble wrap in there...

As I have stated previously, It does not take a UPS expert to properly package an item. It does however take common sense. However, proper packaging or lack their of, lies on the shoulders of the shipper. Even if this item would have had insurance, they would have inspected it and it would have been determined that the item was damaged not by the shipping company, but do to inadequate packaging. Which would have resulted in a claim that would be denied to to inadequate packaging. Also, the item that was being sold does not appear to be the same item that was recieved. If it is in fact the same item, then it should have listed so in the description. I believe the seller is at fault and should refund all money due to lack of proper packaging and if it is in fact the same pump, for misleading the buyer.

It's totally MORE THAN OBVIOUS IT'S NOT THE SAME PUMP. Either way, shipping is insured up to $100 with UPS, Fedex and USPS.
