OOOPS.... A bunch of cake sprinkles just fell in my tank.... will things be okay???

So my tank is under a cabinet with some cooking stuff in it... ie.... cake sprinkles. Quite a few fell into my 12g nano.... I got all I could out of the tank. Anybody know if cake sprinkles are harmful... i did a water change... any other input...

Thanks

Thats all you really can do, I think you should be okay. Depending on the type of sprinkles, you might see an algae bloom since some can contain large amounts of Phosphate.

Just do another water change in a day or so and continue as normal.

If anything, your fish will think its their birthday.

Bacterial bloom due to the sugar? Don't know what they are colored with, presumably food safe so it will not be a problem.
