Mandarin & Longnose Hawk = OK?

I currently have a 1-1/2" Mandarin and I would like to get a Longnose Hawk. Will the hawk try to eat or bother the Mandarin?

No...longnose hawks are the most docile of hawks and generally only go after small shrimp.

I have never seen any fish eat a mandrian. I am sure it has happened, but their slime coat is supposed to deter fish from eating them.

I doubt a Long nose would try to eat such a fat fish, maybe a thin fish such as a dart goby.

Also, I have always heard that mandrians slime coat is toxic to deter fish from eating them.

I have a red banded hawk and a blue mandarin. They get along fine.
