Here's the error message Im getting currently...

message_die() was called multiple times. This isn't supposed to happen. Was message_die() used in page_tail.php?

Have no idea what that means...

Guess I should just go to be and get ready to hook up my ozone unit tomorrow! I'm so excited!

I'm still getting this:

Sorry, but this board is down for database maintenance and restore. In the interim, hit our ReefCentral Forum

The site is back up... the previous "up" was the old board accidentally being turned on due to a dns mix up.

Unfortunately it will take up to 24 hours for the Name server change to propagate through the internet. See you on the new board then.

Cheers,
Mike

now getting this message after signing in and going to my inbox:

Sorry, but if you are seeing this, it means that your dns has not switched to our new host. In the interim, hit our ReefCentral Forum

Do I need to do something different or will it auto switch?

Can't login

I can't login to our site and therefore can't post-would that be due to DNS issues?

I went into the site thru the numerical address listed above. Then I clicked on forums and got the error message about dns? Something is not working as expected!! Need Orkin to work on the bugs!

Looks like the link the foums page at the bottom( blue tab ) still is using the DNS name not the numerical name so that is why I get bounced even though I used numerical not the dns name. I am going to see if I can figure out what the /pagename should be a verify the site is up.

If you can't login use - http://216.97.46.103 instead of http://www.dfwmas.org in the address bar.

Here's the forum link that doesn't use DNS:

OK until the DNS servers at your IP catch up, just type in this:

216.97.46.103/forums/index.php

in your address bar and then hit enter, you should be taken to the board.

Looks like Blide beat me to it, and he hotlinked his so that is much easier to use. See you at the new and improved board.

well this is frustrating, apparently all the button on the site are in dns configuration. So while I can navigate the site and read, if I hit "Reply" it takes me to the sorry error message. I am not going to type in the long strings it takes to get to a posting window so I am a lurker until the DNS system catches up.

Since DNS servers go down from time to time, we might want to think about links that dont use them. Dont know how much work I am talking about to do this, maybe that is way beyond reasonable. But I remember at least two times in the last year or so when my IP had its DND servers go down for some period.
