shipped zoas

Yesterday I recieved a few small zoa frags shipped via usps. I called home and asked my gf to bring them in out of the cold. I tried to explain to her about floating them in the tank so when I got home the temps would be the same and id be all set to add them in. Well she floated them alright, she just scooped them out and plopped em in. Its been almost 36 hours and they arent opening. Wondering if they had any chance of survival or if they are doomed

Thanks

some zoas/palys dont open right away, make sure you start them in the bottom of tank then slowly move them up in time to prevent light shock.

Give them time and make sure they have some decent water flow around them.

I only have a few other small frags in the tank but they opened up within 24 hours. Im only running PCs so the light shouldnt be too bright I dont think

suppressivefire: I thought the same thing but she got a nice long talk and now she knows shes not allowed to touch anything or put anything in the tank. 2 strikes and shes out! lol
