Chrysurus angel... finally got one! :)

Last night I finally brought home an angel that I've wanted for a VERY long time.

My LFS was kind enough to keep an eye out for a juvenile, bring him in for me, and even QT him for me.

He is absolutely perfect. Eating like a pig and already swimming around the tank this morning.

Here's a pic of him last night while being drip acclimated... He'll be going in my FO tank as I don't trust him in my mixed reef.

very nice! Chrys Angels are gorgeous fish!

They usually command an assanine price - if you don't mind me asking, what was the ballpark figure for your juvie?

Nice fish. I have a large now for quite some time. I got it as a Juv, completely blue without the yellow, and watch it change over into the full adult. Very hardy fish and gets along with all my other fish.

Good Lucky with Him.

I always thought these were a rather drab angel until I saw a juvie at Jeff's exotic fish. Pictures dont do them justice, they are just a beautiful fish. Very nice indeed, congratulations.

Looks good, still hasn't started to change which I would have though you would have seen some change after 2 months.

They are apparently slow growers from what I've read.

I'm not sure that true as my has grown pretty fast and considering there aren't many people that have them I'm not sure anyone can draw that conclusion.

I would have thought since it alread had the yellow tail it would have started to should some yellow around the white lines. Well it could be that it's a small Juv still, size wise.
