From my BTT Feeding thread:
-------------------------------------
YES!

A large victory today! He ate a mixture of krill, mysis, plankton & cyclopeeze. However it had to be delivered via. the turkey baster. I'm thinking he's starting to dig this turkey baster as he isn't shying away from it at all. He comes right out and starts biting at the end. He's still not eating the food out of the water column yet, but this is a good start.

I'm happy to have got quite abit into his stomach today. He ate fairly well. He won't touch the food coming out of the baster if he dosen't get it 'right away'. If it happens to float down below him or behind him, he won't go after it. He just heads back to the baster. He seems to be most interested in the food moving inside the baster as I gently 'pulse' it to get it to come out.

I'd also like to point out that I witnessed him 'gulping' or trying to eat things in the water column while he was swimming around.

I plan to continue updating this thread with my trigger feeding adventure incase sometime down the road someone else has the same problem.

I'm very happy he's eating!

So I snapped a few pictures yesterday...

My trigger is doing well but he still will only eat from a turkey baster. Atleast I'm not worried about his health anymore, and I'm sure he'll come around to eating pellets and Nori.

I got a crazy flu a week or so ago and it took a lot out of me which resulted in very little attention to my tank. I was able to pick up some more SPS frags and Zoa frags which I hope to take some pictures of shortly.

While playing with my camera I figured out some settings that will allow me to take better pictures of my corals. (Manual White Balance) The full tank shot below is sort of a test of this as I was playing around with the settings.

Anyways, on to the pictures:

This shot shows the corals well but the color is off. It's more what it would look like if I was running 10K halides with no actinics. IRL it's more blue.

RonBuck,
It's a Bluethroat trigger (xanthichthys auromarginatus).

Hey guys.. this thread badly needs an update. I hope to do so early in the week. Good news is that I've started (with the help of a friend) a website version of this thread. Should make things easier to find as this thread gets bigger.

Thats what I thought. They are said to be reef safe, am I correct?
